Research Facilities and Activities

The Wireless Networks and Communications Research Lab in the Toronto Metropolitan University engages in technology-oriented research from the physical to application layers of wireless communications. Radio Resource Management and Radio Access and Networking (RRM+RAN) Group directed by Dr. A. Anpalagan is one of the research groups within WINCORE Lab. We offer advanced education and training in research and development in the emerging needs of the today’s communications industry.

The lab was set up with the initial financial support from Canadian Foundation for Innovations (CFI), Ontario Innovations Trust (OIT), and subsequently upgraded with the grants from NSERC Canada and Toronto Metropolitan University. The RRM+RAN Research Group occupies 400 Sq. Ft. lab facility in Room 400, Eric Palin Hall, Toronto Metropolitan University.

The research group has an alumni strength of 100+  that includes post doctoral fellows, research associates, doctoral and master’s students, undergraduate research assistants.
